Back to the......

The man has become a legend in his own right. By raising cane and telling a billion dollar company to make a pair of sneakers that were only shown on the silver screen in 1989, in comes Al Cabino a.k.a the Internationally renowned sneakerographer. Damn, ‘89 was a good year! The music, the clothes and of course the great sneakers!

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, go to your nearest video store and rent Do the Right Thing directed by Spike Lee. I’ll reminisce just a little bit:

Frank Bruno got his ass beat by ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson.
Rupert Murdoch gave us the first Dish (Sky TV).
Meg Ryan starred in When Harry Met Sally.
Nintendo hit us with the Game Boy and Tetris was the shit!
The Berlin Wall fell and East & West finally met.
The Chinese Army turned on student demonstrators in Tiananmen Square.
America and Russia declared an end to the Cold War.
Paula Abdul went from Lakers’ cheerleader to releasing Forever Your Girl.
NWA gave a double middle-finger salute to the police with F*CK Tha Police, which prompted the FBI to send the group a letter disapproving of the song.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are the bomb and every kid wanted to carry nunchucks and eat pizza.
Milli Vanilli. Need I say more?

I can go on for days but I’ll spare you the pain. To tell it is to relive it and that's painful, right?

So check out Cabino’s blog http://operationmcfly.blogspot.com/ and if you’re interested in signing the petition you can do so at http://www.petitiononline.com/future2/.

You’ve just had your lesson for the day so Scatta ‘ya backside & walk good!
