OSD's good friend and supporter Petey from Premium Laces NY has found a new way to deal with employee lateness at his SOHO NYC sneaker and clothing store. Taking the recession into consideration, he has decided against taking money away from his employees, and resorting new and interesting forms of punishment for their infractions. In this case, this (MALE) employee was forced to wear "womens UGG boots" for the same amount of minutes that he came in late to work, and still serve customers.
I'm sure Petey has more of these creative punishments lined up for repeat offenders. Some bosses do have a heart in the midst of our country's economic slowdown.
