Fake Kicks Siezed In The Bay
Just fake it? That seems to be the Modus Operandi these days with folks realizing that fakes sneakers can command top dollars.
Well, the footwear companies such as Nike, Adidas and Reebok have entire divisions dedicated to seizing and destroying this line of business.
Recently in the Port of Oakland, authorities seized 568 cartons of fakes Nike sneakers, estimated to be worth $704k. The interesting part of the story is that the sneakers were stashed behind 30 cases of industrial toilet paper.
As the economy continues to take a beating, look for more and more of these types of seizures from the footwear companies and electronic companies.
Be careful out there and Walk GOOD!
