The boots have been synonymous with New England and people throughout major cities such as NYC, Philly, Chicago and Baltimore have adopted them like that distant cousin. The first of it's kind to sell a waterproof boot that was made with the intentions of hunters and fishermen wearing them to keep their feet dry, they have taken on a life of their own and were embraced by the business elite in the previously mentioned cities. The Duck Boots, manufactured by L.L. Bean of Rockport, Maine, got their birth in 1914 and they're still going strong. So in the year 2007 you can't mess with a product that's been around for 93 years. Maybe their motto was, "93 to infinity" when Leon Leonwood Bean first made them in 1914?
Check out this video where some not known and some well-known sneakkerheads so their love for the Duck Boots.
