It's been happening all over the United States and not many people are aware of it. Young women and men are being robbed and killed for their sneakers! Yes, sneakers. Objects that are made of leather, suede, nylon, rubber, alligator and many other types of animal skins are being coveted by kids and their would-be attackers.
In the sneakerhead world, we've seen riots similar to Feb. 22, 2005, when the 'Pigeon' Dunks
were released in New York; we heard stories of cats getting in fights when the Nike Air Jordan 4 retros were released a couple years ago and now a 13-year-old boy in Brockton, MA was robbed at knife point for his White, Blue and Silver Air Jordan 5 retros. Read the story at The Enterprise.
