When you get to a point in life when you get tired of hearing stories of parents beating up their children or worse, killing them, it takes a long time for this homeboy to get to a 'good' place and think positively about the human race. You know, we are an endowed people and all that we have is 'gifted' to us from our ancestors. They entrusted us with the knowledge and wherewithall to work hard and make the world a better place for the generations to come.Now, you may be reading this and thinking, "What the hell does this have to do with sneakers?" This has alot to do with sneakers and everything not to do with sneakers. At times people get it in their head that a pair of fresh kicks will make them feel better or make the issues disappear. We all know that's not the case. When I'm faced with a tough decision, I don't go to my basement and look at all my kicks and miraculously arrive at a solution, rather I talk to the wifey, to the family and gather as much information as possible and then I pray on it. You see, prayer does help. If you're not spiritual or don't believe in a higher being, that's cool. But I will say that we're living in a world where people are putting material things before human life. A pair of sneaker such as the Nike Air Force 1 'Playstations', Nike Air Jordan IV 'Eminem' or PUMA YO! MTV Raps 'Clydes' are just sneakers. Yes, they may be limited, but what people have to remember is that they're just that- SNEAKERS. The person makes the sneakers and not the other way around.
So, on this Friday sit back and relax and think positive thoughts and surround yourself with like-minded people.
