I've been meeting so many positive people over the past 3 months that are working on some projects that will have lasting affects on fashion, music, film and sneakers.
The thing that I find the most interesting is that people are figuring out that dressing is coming back. I don't know when the trend of lingerie tops, sweatpants and UGG boots became the prerequisite outfit for a trendy female, but I'm happy to see females dressing again and leaving somethings to the imagination.
When it comes to dudes, I'm more critical because men's fashion is something that I've always been passionate about and I didn't get voted "most likely to appear on the cover of GQ" in high school for nothing. When companies have switched up their lines to now embrace urban culture, which is now being called street culture or streetwear, many have sold their souls. The rehashing of what was done in the '80s is as played out as all-over-printed hoodies.
I'll be sure to keep you posted on all the projects and growth.
