In a report released today multi-platinum rapper Nelly along with 2 other business partners purchased the trademark for the popular 80's brand Troop from Innovative Custom Brands. The plan is to relaunch the brand to limited specialty streetwear chains and focus on jackets, tees, and and kicks. Now some may think that this is a smart business move by the rapper and is partners but, you have to ask yourself how long is this 80's/90's fashion trend going to last? Depending on his investment I think he should have put omore money in the the bobcats.
