This past weekend in the Nation's Capitol, Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, participated in the Susan G. Komen "Race for the Cure" and an OSD Ambassador was able to speak with Condi about her exercise routine as well as her choice of footwear.

I have an affinity for Nike sneakers because they're comfortable and do what I need them to do. It doesn't hurt that they're stylish and I look good in them. I have quite a few pairs of sneakers in my closet.
Who knew that the Secretary of State for the United States of America was into sneakers. Nowadays, everyone and their grandmother is a sneakerhead, but now comes the hard part...getting Condi to show us her sneakers and what she has stashed for when she's no longer in Office.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure, formerly known as The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, is an organization supporting breast cancer research. Since its inception in 1982, Komen has raised over $1 billion for research, education and health services, making it the nation’s largest breast cancer charity.
