Footlocker "HOUSE of HOOPS" Grand Opening STRAIGHT OUTTA JERSEY!

This past Saturday, March 27th, Footlocker House of Hoops opened in the Willowbrook Mall in New Jersey . FSF and OSD's own Feeway was on hand to snap a few pics of the spot and catch some feet! I heard a rumor that guy Chad from the sketch comedy show Just Blame Chad was there as well...but no proof of that has surfaced. Anywho...Here are a few pics from the event.

Just Blame Chad: OSD's Sketch Comedy Show: On Set Part 1 (Ft. Greene Brooklyn)

On a rainy July afternoon filming began for OSD's new sketch comedy show in Brooklyn, New York. Without giving up too much before the show airs, here are some pictures from the set for one of the sketches in the premiere episode of "Just Blame Chad". As evident in these images, there was a lot of fun had by all on the set (even the dogs). The only bad time was had by the Jedi SB Dunks which had a tough time on the set (as the images will show). Of Course we'll update you on the production leading up to the premiere.

This unsuspecting pair of Jedi SB Dunks DID NOT have a good time on the set. Surely, there is a hypebeast somewhere looking at this while crying and possibly wondering why anyone would allow such a thing to happen to such a highly regarded sneaker. Well...all I can say is wait for the premiere episode of the show, and it will all make sense.

House of Hoops or House of Smoke?

So, it appears that Footlocker has got its head so far up Nike’s ass that they don’t know they missed the boat 3-years ago.

I knew that the House of Hoops stores were on the horizon, but had no clue that they’d take Footlocker more than 2-years to execute the look and the unveiling of their first store in Harlem (NYC), of all places.

I guess to the uneducated, some will say that by Footlocker and Nike joining forces and attempting to form like Voltron and opening a sneaker-boutique that is designed specifically for basketball aficionados, is a good look, while there are those that will look at it as contrived and lacking swagger.

Now, I haven’t visited the store, but I plan to in the coming weeks and I’ll give a first-hand look of what sneakers are available and the “other gear” that their peddling in Harlem USA.
