There are some nasty rumors out there that Nike sneakers have some chemicals in the insoles that make them addictive to the wearer. Well, if you believe this then you'll believe just about anything.
Word hit the Street yesterday that Nike and Asics were making a bid to purchase Adidas. Such a rumor sent a ripple effect to the stock market and shares of Adidas (ADSG.DE) rose 3 percent.
No word from Nike on the matter, but we know that Asics doesn't have the loot to pull off such a purchase and would need the deep pockets of Daddy Warbucks---Nike.
We'll keep you posted and we'll be sure to not start any other rumors such as the the Air Jordan XX3s being inspired by..............................
