OSD: The Company:OSD-Obsessive Sneaker Disorder is a multimedia company that specializes in news covering the footwear industry and the people that collect, obsess, and search for sneakers. Due to the increasing use of the Internet, OSD has been able to connect sneaker enthusiasts from various corners of the world with other like-minded ‘sneakerheads’ to discuss the latest sneaker releases, trends, brands and the impact that sneakers have on people.
OSD Video Channels:The OSD Internet video channels were launched on Thursday, July 31, 2008, with anticipation and an Internet buzz that garnered an immediate reaction from the sneakerhead community.
www.o-s-d.tv & www.wosd.tv.The OSD channels quickly became the key video channels for sneaker aficionados and trendsetters to watch what was taking place in cities such as Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Miami and Houston, to name a few.
OSD video channels offer unique features such as the ability to mix multiple live cameras, imported videos clips, and overlay graphics, and now RSS Feed updates.
OSD Ambassador Program Overview:The
OSD Ambassador Program (OSDAP) enlists sneaker personalities and enthusiasts from around the United States and the world to cover the sneaker-scene, from their perspective and on their community, all-the-while allowing their personality to shine through.
The video footage must be filmed (mini-DV or Hard Drive) and edited by the Ambassador. If you need help with the editing, we'll hook you up! Footage will be featured on on one or both OSD video channels— www.o-s-d.tv and www.wosd.tv.
We,
OSD, offers the Ambassador full control of the content and stories. We simply ask that the footage is filmed with a 1-chip, or ideally 3-chip, video camcorder where the visual footage is clear and the audio is of good quality and able to be heard clearly.
OSD will provide an FTP (file transfer protocol) website for uploading the video footage to.
Once the videos have been added to the OSD programming, an email will be sent to the Ambassador notifying him/her when the programming is “live” on one or both
OSD channels.
Why should I become an OSD Ambassador?Because this is a great way to get you film career off the ground by documenting a topic that has far reaching interests.
Because what film-maker or reporter new or old wouldn’t want to submit content to their core audience knowing that it will be viewed and appreciated?
Because the
OSD Ambassador Program allows you to connect with other like-minded people that are some of the sneaker culture’s premiere personalities and business people. Being an
OSD Ambassador may assist you in creating other business ventures that may or may not be sneaker-related.
Lastly, but certainly not least, because everyone needs an outlet for expressing their love for sneakers. We’ve created it, so why not use it? If you don’t, someone else will. Believe that!
